Laurynas Keturakis
[ˈlɒːʊ̯rʲiːnɐs] — you can also call me Lau
Fullstack engineer, technical mutt, building AI tools.
I work on fp.dev at Fiberplane.
I got here sideways — humanities degree, policy work, product management — which mostly means I build quick but care a lot about what's actually worth building.
I work across the whole stack: UI interactions, backend systems, embeddings, evals. I care about developer experience and believe most software should be simpler, smaller, and run on your machine first.

Originally from Lithuania, now based in Amsterdam. Learned HTML at 12, C++ at 16 (which put me off coding long enough to get a humanities degree). I wrote all my papers in LaTeX, which was completely unnecessary but taught me a lot about system composition and the value of good typography.
After a stint in policy and product management, I came back to engineering because I wanted to build my own ideas without waiting on anyone else. Joined Fiberplane to build tools for other developers.
Outside work: I make music, cook, and have built a couple of split mechanical keyboards.
